Calendar

The Orchestra will start 2013 with a US tour and a performance of the full Beethoven cycle at Carnegie Hall, the culmination and end point of the global tour with these pieces over the last two years. In May, the Orchestra will play the Brahms Requiem at the Salzburg Whitsun Festival. The Summer Tour in July will take the musicians to several European venues. Highlights will be performances in Salzburg and Lucerne and the continuation of the yearly open air concert at the Waldbühne in Berlin (for information, see www.waldbuehnenkonzert.de).

In 2013, the West-Eastern Divan Orchestra remembers its co-founder Edward Said on the occasion of the decennial of his death.
