Auditions

The Fundación Barenboim-Said issues calls for several auditions every year for entering the West-Eastern Divan Orchestra, details of which are published on the Fundación’s web site.

Generally, auditions are held towards the beginning of each year in Spain and various countries in the Middle East. Although personal participation in an audition is preferable, some applicants may be selected for the WEDO on the strength of audiovisual material of their musicianship.
